Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a treatment used as part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which is a sophisticated and complete medical system of diagnosis and treatments that has evolved over more than 3000 years.  It is the practice of inserting very fine needles into the skin to stimulate specific anatomical points in the body, known as acupoints, for therapeutic purposes. Acupuncture is best known for its effectiveness in controlling pain. However, acupuncture can treat a wide variety of health problems.

To find out more, visit our FAQ or send us a message using the link below. And remember that you are always welcome to visit our clinics and ask us. Acupuncture can be used in conjunction with other TCM treatments such as Chinese Herbal Medicine and Tuina Massage. In many cases, this is more effective and the options will be discussed with you in your consultation.
